I used the form:
http://grml.org/contact/
to contact you about this issue back
on January 9th.
I never go any reply or acknowledgement!
I was most disappointed.
Anyway, it looks like you doing something
about it now.
Have you any predictions when the final
release will be available?

I'd love to switch to 2.6.23, but I'm using fglrx and it seems there has been some trouble with kernel 2.6.23 and fglrx. AFAIK there's already a patch for fglrx available - do you plan to include this patched fglrx-module?
btw, grml is great :)

Hi Mika, great news! I was just browsing your site, and can't believe that you now provide this!
Well, that should be cool, but let me ask you a serious question.
Have you any intention of ever dropping Speakup from GRML? Please be honest, as they have now switched to Git-repositorys on Linux-speakup.org, and I suggest you to stay in contact with Kirk Ricer to find out how SPeakup is doing these days.
Also, SPeech-Dispatcher 0.64 is out, if you did not already know this, I suggest you to update it if you haven't done so already, as it solves my issues sinse a native ESpeak module is there, wich should solve my non GRML on SMP issues. Thanks.
Regards, --Keith.

I usually configure the machines so that they do not boot from CD automatically but allow to boot from CD using the boot menu (usually F12, depending on the BIOS).

And I usually use grml2ram and take the CD with me afterwards.

Your hack is nice, but i doubt I'll ever need it.
